Marimo Moss Ball Kit

Our Marimo Moss Ball Kit contains everything you need to make up the perfect environment for your very own moss ball pet. The box will contain a glass jar, a bag of just the right amount of gravel in your choice of colour, a care card, and of course, your new moss ball.

Simply add the gravel to the jar, remove the moss ball from its bag and pop it in the jar and add cold tap water. Fill the jar with enough water to cover the moss ball but not to make contact with the cork lid.

Change the water roughly every 2-3 weeks. You can squeeze water out of the ball too and then rehydrate and shape. It may float in new water but will slowly sink. Do not use any soap if cleaning the inside of the jar.

Keep your moss ball in a place out of direct sun. A cool spot is ideal, they are not used to high temperatures.

Don't forget to give your moss ball a name and tag us on social media when introducing it to the world! Previous names we've heard; Diana Moss, Moss Kemp, Jonathon Moss, Sterling... you get the idea!

The moss ball will be fine out of water for about a week, please bear this in mind when ordering to ensure it's not kept in the box too long.
