Christmas Cactus - 10.5cm

Known for their vibrant, arching stems and stunning seasonal blooms, Thanksgiving Cactus (Schlumbergera truncata - commonly referred to as Christmas Cactus) brings a splash of colour and festive charm to any room. With their jagged-edged, glossy green foliage and bright flowers in shades of pink, red, or orange, these slow-growing cacti are perfect for windowsills or hanging pots, adding elegance and cheer to your space.

Light:
Place within 1–2 metres of a bright East- or North-facing window. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water:
Water when the pot feels noticeably lighter, allowing the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings. Thanksgiving Cactus prefers slightly moist soil, but avoid overwatering.

Soil:
Grows best in our chunky houseplant soil mix, which provides good drainage while retaining some moisture.

Temperature:
Thrives in normal household temperatures, ideally between 16–24°C. Keep away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.

Feeding:
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half strength. Stop feeding in autumn and winter to encourage flowering.

Supplied in an 10.5cm pot.
